Areas with folds—such as the armpits, groin, spaces between the fingers, and toes—should be dried particularly thoroughly. For the internal channels, housedoll recommends using absorbent cloths and a gentle stream of air, such as from drying sticks, to ensure no residual moisture remains inside. In practice, this step is often crucial, because it’s not the cleaning itself, but rather insufficient drying that can later lead to odors, bacterial growth, or material stress. It’s important for customers to understand that “rinsed clean” doesn’t automatically mean “dry.” Drying is therefore not a secondary step, but an integral part of care.

What should you look out for?
A common misconception is that air-drying alone is always sufficient. Hidden areas, internal channels, and pressure points are particularly critical during the drying process. Especially after thorough cleaning, you should make a point of taking your time with this step.
