Respiratory Function

The breathing function is activated at the push of a button and simulates gentle, calm breathing through movement of the abdominal wall. The battery is charged via a cable and lasts for approximately 30 minutes. The breathing function primarily alters the perception of the doll during close contact and can enhance the impression of lifelike movement. At the same time, it is one of the robotic features that can add extra weight; housedoll generally notes that individual robotic features can add up to 2.5 kg of additional weight.

What should you look out for?
Many people confuse the breathing function with a comprehensive robotics or AI feature. In fact, this is a single motion function with limited battery life. In addition, the general robotics guidelines regarding additional weight, protection of the connectors during cleaning, and the lack of EU certification also apply here.
