With this option, the lubricant is activated by water and forms a lubricating film. This can make use easier and more spontaneous, since you don’t have to have extra lubricant on hand every time. At the same time, it’s important to remember: “lubricant-free” doesn’t automatically mean “maintenance-free.” After use, the affected areas still need to be cleaned and thoroughly dried. In most cases, the lubricating films last for about 1,000 uses.
