A matter of the heart: The creation of the Micaela Schäfer silicone doll
As the founder and managing director of housedoll, this project was more than just a business collaboration for me—it was a true labor of love. The process: From 3D scan to the final doll

The moment we saw how detailed her body was digitally reproduced was incredible. We knew immediately: This is going to be something big! The scan itself took several hours, but it was worth every minute to ensure that every detail—from the contours of her body to the smallest details—was captured precisely.
The data was then converted into a digital model, which formed the basis for production. High-quality silicone was used, which not only looks and feels incredibly realistic. The production process was very time-consuming, as every detail was refined by hand. We paid particular attention to the body makeup, which perfectly reflects Micaela's natural beauty and individuality.
