Dry fold areas such as armpits, groin, between the fingers, and toes particularly thoroughly. Absorbent cloths and a gentle airflow (e.g., drying sticks) in the ducts ensure no residual moisture remains, reliably preventing odors and the growth of germs.

TPE should be cared for with a minimal amount of mineral oil every one to three months, followed by powdering. Silicone should only be cleaned, dried, and powdered if necessary. For storage, choose a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Lying on soft, light-colored cloths or hanging from a rack will help retain its shape and prevent pressure sores.
